As the migration producer for Dartmouth College, I brought older academic and administrative sites into Dartmouth’s new Drupal platform. My team and I analyzed a site’s metrics and content, proposed changes to improve the site’s user experience, created a new site, edited the content based on the target audience, and ran extensive technical and grammatical QA on all content.

volunteer Editor
Thetford Neighborhood News — 2014-2019

The print and online Neighborhood News filled the local news gap for those who had no access to regular posts on the town listserv, and highlighted important announcements by local organizations, schools, libraries, town offices and residents. It was posted monthly in approximately two dozen locations around town and was written by Thetford residents.

SOCIAL MEDIA SPECIALIST

I handled social media for the Dartmouth-Hitchcock health system, managing external communities such as Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and YouTube, formulating strategy, and educating employees. I helped launch Dartmouth-Hitchcock's social media presence, and was its first Social Media Specialist.

I started a column called "The Feed" on our internal news site, focusing on how the merging of social media and health care affects employees, patients and caretakers alike. The articles were consistently among the most popular stories on the site.

WEB CONTENT PRODUCER
DARTMOUTH HITCHCOCK HEALTH SYSTEM — 2006-2012

For six years, I migrated, wrote and edited content for Dartmouth-Hitchcock's employee and patient websites, consulted with stakeholders and helped them see projects through to completion, assisted in the conception and creation of new sites, and worked closely with clinicians, administrators and peers in the field.
